WorldView: Wildlife app for iPhone and iPad

WorldView: Wildlife is a” Digital Coffee Table Book” featuring the stunning wildlife photographs of nature photographer, Steven Fish. It contains over 600 images of the natural world from 6 continents. You can swipe to the left to “turn the page” just as you can with a regular printed book. Or you can select auto page turns in the settings and the book will turn the pages for you at your pre-selected time interval (not so easy to do with a regular printed book). Manual page turns work best if you are browsing through the images and may want to stop on a layout to examine the images closer. Auto page turns are best if you are watching on a TV or large monitor.

The concept of this App is to present a nearly infinite combination of layouts. The app randomly selects one of 50 different professionally designed layouts and then randomly selects images of the correct size and shape to populate the layout. For the first 100 or so page turns, you won’t see an image repeated. Then images are recycled, but always into a unique position and layout. Theoretically, you could turn pages your whole life and never see the exact same group of images in the exact same layout positions.
